Modesto Junior College is the perfect place to start if you want to transfer to a four-year university. You'll find it convenient and affordable to complete your lower division coursework and seamlessly transfer to a four-year university to complete your education. The mission of the Transfer Center is to provide current, accurate information and support to assist students who are exploring transfer options to other institutions of higher learning. We are a resource which provides a variety of programs and activities designed to make transfer from Modesto Junior College to a baccalaureate granting institution as successful as possible. We have developed strong working relationships with the University of California, the California State University as well as additional private colleges and universities throughout the state.

You can transfer to any University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), Private or Out of State University.

Transfer Center Service Learning Outcomes (SAO) & Student Learning Outcomes (SSLO)

  • Students will learn the process to successfully access resources at the Transfer Center. (SAO)
  • Students will understand the necessary steps in the application process to apply to the UC and/or CSU, and will demonstrate this knowledge through the electronic submission of their application. (SSLO)
  • Students will be knowledgeable of the Transfer Center resources. (SSLO)
