Allied HealthStudent worker: Assist our front office staff with walk-in services, learn and communicate information about programs. Answer a high volume of calls and emails. Duplicating:Student Worker: student workers are the first point of contact for walk-in service at our front desk, meaning that customer service is their first priority. Strong reading comprehension skills, accuracy, and the ability to occiaonally lift 50 lbs. are all necessary. The bulk of the work is operating high speed copiers, and includes finishing work like cutting, binding, and laminating. This position will require standing and performing repetitive and sometimes demanding physical tasks. Valid Driver’s License necessary. Museum Assistant: Duties will include but not limited to: Opening and closing procedures for museum and nature gift shop. Greet museum visitors and create rapport. Properly handle cash and perform basic cashiering principles. Manage incoming and outgoing calls to and from the Great Valley Museum. On occasion lead small tours. Be able to lift up to 30lbs on occasion. Work diligently on tasks and projects assigned by GVM staff. Work will with computers and tablet programs such as office Suite. TRIO Student Support ServicesStudent Assistant/Peer Mentor/Tutor: Must be able to learn and share information about MJC TRIO SSS Program. Provide excellent customer service to program participants, campus personnel and visitors. Able to multi-task, for example, answer multi-line phone, schedule appointments, call for appointment reminders and follow-up, complete projects as assigned, maintain filling system, other related duties as assigned. Student Workers may serve as Peer Mentor to new and returning program participants.
