Dates & Deadlines
To apply for financial aid, students must complete ONE of two financial aid applications. Either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
Here are a few key things to remember when applying:

- Your application must be received and processed by the US Department of Education/California Student Aid Commission with an Official Expected Family Contribution (EFC) (2023-2024) and Official Student Aid Index (SAI) (2024-2025) while you are still enrolled.
- Allow 3 to 21 days for MJC to receive the results after you submit your application on-line.
FAILURE TO SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Students who do not submit required documents to the Student Financial Services Office forfeit his/her aid for the award year. In certain cases, students must return any aid funds already received for the year.
