Personnel
The Accommodations and Support Center has an efficient and friendly office staff that can answer your questions and provide you with the help you need in completing an application. The Office serves both prospective and current students who have documented disabilities and who request services on the basis of a disabling condition.
ASC front office staff assists students with the application process by phone and in person. They schedule appointments for advising, assist with student concerns, answer questions regarding ASC program services offered, testing accommodations, priority registration and other services on MJC campus.
ASC also has staff that are testing administrators for course related quizzes and exams given to qualifying students. Testing accommodations can include extra time, reading and writing assistance and enlarged print. Tests must be arranged 4 days in advance and tests requested for a different day or time are only with instructor approval.
The Testing Center on the East Campus is located in Journalism Building room 155 and on West Campus Yosemite Hall room 145A.
