On January 27th at 7:30pm, MAPS (Modesto Area Partners in Science) welcomes Dr. John Abatzoglou of the University of California, Merced to discuss his work in climatology. Understanding Opioid Addiction: The Role of Genetics and Neurobiology
Dr. Lyn Raible M.D., P.h.D presents this timely discussion on the current opioid crisis, January 31st at noon. Dr. Raible will help attendees understand how genetic variants increase the risk of opioid use disorder by causing neurological changes that drive addictive behaviors and make escaping addiction so difficult.
