Check your email... an invitation to win may be waiting for you!
Modesto Junior College is conducting a campus-wide survey about student health and
well-being called the Healthy Minds Study. The purpose of this study is to better understand student mental health and well-being,
sources of support, and other mental and emotional health topics. A random sample
of students were selected to participate and will receive an email invitation to participate
in the study. All MJC students should check their college issued email accounts for
the invitation. Use the link in the email to access the online survey. It will take
approximately 25 minutes to complete and is a chance to reflect on important topics
in your life and in your campus community.
Upon completion of the survey students will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes
for 1 of 2 $500 prizes or 1 of 10 $100 prizes. The drawing will be conducted by researchers
at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan in summer
2023. Winners will be notified by email and provided with information about how to
collect the prize. In addition, participants are eligible for a random drawing for
the following prizes, which will be given to students only at Modesto Junior College:
1 of 2 iPads valued at $329 each, 1 of 2 Apple Watches valued at $249 each, or 1 of
2 sets of AirPods value at $129 each.
Survey participants are invited to join us for snacks and let your voice be heard! Open lab will be available Monday 2/27-Thursday 3/2 from 9:00-4:00 on East Campus in the Student Success Hub, Student Services Building, rm. 116. West Campus will have open lab available Monday 3/6-Thursday 3/9 from 9:00-4:00 in the Mary Stuart Rogers Building, rm. 124. We hope to see you there!
The Healthy Minds Study was designed specifically for colleges and universities, and its success depends on gathering the diverse perspectives of all types of students – therefore your participation would be greatly valued.
