MJC Art Gallery presents 'Strangers' student exhibit
How do you respond to a stranger? Do you quickly cast your eyes downward to avoid
feeling uncomfortable? Or do you look directly into that stranger’s eyes, smile, and
perhaps offer a greeting?
Strangers is a collaborative project between MJC’s Photography, Humanities, and Communication
Departments, and documents how students and staff stepped into each other’s intimate
space to be photographed and interviewed about their experience. If you were asked
to be photographed with a stranger, what would you say?
