MJC Athletics Innovates with New Cipher Skin Technology
The Athletic Training staff at Modesto Junior College started using Cipher Skin, a type of sensor-embedded clothing, in February of this year with a small numbers of student athletes.
"It allows the patient/student-athletes to visually see what they are doing, and they can correct or improve their mechanics. This results in better mechanics, improved function and ideally a more proficient body movement for them in sport and ADLs." shared Jaime DeRollo, Head Athletic Trainer/Faculty at Modesto Junior College.
MJC works closely with Cipher Skin to support student athletes.
The Cipher Skin technology is also starting to be used in the NFL.
