Welcome to the website of the International Student Program (ISP) of Modesto Junior College. The mission of the ISP is to provide essential services to Modesto Junior College's international student population (non-immigrant, New American and undocumented). Appropriate admission, legal, academic, financial, linguistic and personal couseling and services are provided to enable international students to achieve their academic and personal goals. The ISP functions as the liaison between the college and United States government agencies on matters pertaining to the college's non-immigrant student population.
The home of the ISP is the International Center that has as its mission to bring together international and domestic students, faculty and staff, in a warm and welcoming environment and to encourage an awareness, understanding and appreciation of the world's cultures through a variety of social, cultural and educational programs. The Center also serves as the educational home of the Learning Abroad Library.
