Stadium "Victory" Campaign
Thirty-three world records have been set at the MJC stadium since its humble installation in the early 1920's. Thanks to the tremendous support of loyal alumni, students, faculty and community members, the MJC stadium has become nationally known today.

NEWS: MJC Receives Stadium Scoreboard Donation!
Modesto Junior College received a new stadium scoreboard courtesy of a $150,000 donation by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local #684 chapter and the Northern California Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). The gift and the donors were recognized during the September 9 meeting of the Yosemite Community College District Board of Trustees. The new high tech scoreboard offers a multipurpose scoring system that displays all the essential game information and has a customize accent truss that identifies the MJC Stadium as "Home of the Pirates."

The 14th Annual Summer Sonata will take place at the Majestic Gallo Center for the Arts. It's a perfect match having the college's premier event held at Modesto's premier facility. Aside from the change in venue, the Sonata will feature re-vamped auctions and programs as well as switching to a Thursday night.
Over the years the Summer Sonata has raised over $850,000 for MJC student scholarships, program and staff grants, special projects, equipment, and supplies.
