The primary role of the MJC Campus Safety Committee is to promote campus safety, security,
                                       and emergency preparedness to endeavor to create a safe and secure learning and working
                                       environment for the campus community.
                                    
                                    Duties:
                                    
                                    
                                       
                                       - Review and make recommendations on campus safety and security issues brought forth
                                          by employees and students
 
                                       
                                       - Provide guidance, support, and recommendations regarding safety policies and programs
 
                                       
                                       - Assists with emergency procedures planning and programming
 
                                       
                                       - Periodically review reports of accidents, incidents, and injuries that occur on campus
 
                                       
                                       - Recommend appropriate action to mitigate adverse trends
 
                                       
                                       - Provides oversight of the Environmental, Safety, and Security Plan
