Have a proposal in mind?

Submit a GO Proposal Application Pre-Approval Package in Etrieve with information about the funding opportunity and a synopsis of your proposed project. Please include an attachment of the RFP if possible.

All grant concepts require Executive Cabinet approval (via the Etrieve Pre-Approval form) prior to receiving writing support. Individuals are not able to apply for grants on behalf of the College.

Upon submission of the Pre-Approval form, MJC’s Grant Writer will contact you to set up a preliminary meeting and begin the application process. · Contact Timea Ewing with any questions.

Grant Approval Journey

Follow the steps below to ensure your grant will get the approval and support necessary for submission.

  1. Plan ahead.
  2. Faculty and staff should discuss prospective projects with their Dean and/or direct supervisor and identify a Project Director and Subject Matter Expert.
  3. When ready to move forward, complete the Pre-Approval form in Etrieve.
  4. Work with the grants support team to develop the application. The project’s Subject Matter Expert should plan to provide content as needed throughout the drafting process.
  5. Continue working with the grants support team until submission is complete.
