Laying Hen Sale

We are making room for our new flock of hens! Bring home our experienced ladies and save money at the grocery store! All MJC birds are brown-layers, approximately 90 weeks old & still laying!

All birds must be pre-claimed prior to pick-up. Pick up will be at the MJC Poultry Facility on West Campus, October 18th 2pm-5pm & October 25th 8am-12pm. Cost will be $2/bird (cash or check only) and you must be able to transport,  we have no crates available, and there will be no deliveries.

Dell'Osso Family Farm - Young Farmer Meeting

October 22nd

The October Young Farmer Meeting is scheduled on October 22nd and will be held at the Dell'Osso Family Farm in Lathrop! We will be traveling by bus and can only accommodate 75 students. The cost will be $10. If you would like to join the group, please stop by Mrs. Marchy's office, Ag East Room 113, in person with $10 in hand to guarantee your spot. 
 

WEST CAMPUS STUDENT HOUSING TRICK-OR-TREAT

We invite you to come trick or treating at the Ag Intern Housing Units. Children are welcome!

Join in on the fun Monday, October 28th 5pm-6pm at the West Campus Ag Intern Student Housing.

Harvest Party

November 9, 2024

The annual Harvest Party functions as the School of Agriculture's main fundraiser as well as a great gathering to allow MJC alumni and associates to enjoy a relaxing evening of great food, beverages, auctions, and dancing.

  • The Harvest Party is typically held on the 2nd Saturday in November.
  • Approximately 800 people have attended each year.
  • Location: MJC West Campus ACE Pavilion
