Eleomar Alvarez-Rivas
Running for Senator of Business & Computing
My name is Eleomar Alvarez Rivas and I am running for Senator of Business and Computing, I enjoy weightlifting and playing games. My favorite color is green and I enjoy music to my very core but with a somber listening I also am very argumentative as each position has something to offer no matter how small the debate. Now that you know more about me I am here to offer up my chance to be in this position within ASMJC as I will dedicate my time to helping you receive a better understanding of business and computing whether it be the idea of how to start one or pursue an official career, economic trends, or how to understand a lesson a teacher is presenting. Along with that I am here as a representative of you and your needs as any type of problem or complaint, even ones that have very little or nothing to do with business are still at the frontline of my attention. With your vote we can work together for a better MJC in Business and computing allowing for each student within the major to pass without struggle and enjoy what this campus has to offer.

Running for Senator of Business & Computing
Hello! My name is Jaylen Ward and I am running to be a Senator for the School of Business and Computing at Modesto Junior College. I am currently 18 years old, have lived in the Central Valley for majority of my life. As an African American, I take pride in representing diversity within communities and advocating for better inclusion. I have a deep passion for STEM and helping others. In my free time, I will usually either be working on creative projects or helping others through volunteering or tutoring. These have all but helped build a foundation for my leadership and has empowered me to pursue it further. Witnessing injustices and misrepresentation in society made me realize that people in high positions may prioritize themselves rather than what is best for all. This motivated me to be the change that I wish to see by standing up and fighting for what's right and ensure every voice is heard. As a member of Student Government, I plan to ensure that my constituents needs are met, that I act with integrity, bring inclusivity, and bring huge contributions to the table.
