Each academic school year, our law firm recognizes one student for his or her service to others. We are offering a $1,000 scholarship to an undergraduate student who is committed to serving others and bettering the community. This scholarship is one way we give back to our community. Open to all seniors in high school, recent high school graduates, or first year college students with declared intention of preparing for a career in public service (i.e. teaching, law enforcement, fire safety, nursing, public administration, political science, etc.) and will attend either Modesto Junior College or Stanislaus State University.
COCA-COLA ALL-STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE ACADEMIC TEAM PROGRAM: Annually awards 400 scholarships, of $1,000 and $2,000, to students attending two-year higher-education institutions granting terminal degrees. Each campus can nominate one student. Basic eligibility: Nominees must have at least a 2.5 GPA, have some community service or be employed part- or full-time, and be enrolled in at least two courses during the upcoming fall term a two-year institution.

This scholarship is granted to those individuals interested in pursuing a degree in legal studies. This scholarship specifically excludes law school. Past recipients have studied to become legal secretaries, paralegals, and court reporters.

Stanislaus Community Foundation uses a common, online application for scholarship funds that accept applications through our office. For most of our scholarships, but not all, applicants must be residents of Stanislaus County.
The American Association of Geographers is pleased to announce a national scholarship program for community college students. Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to students from community colleges, junior colleges, city colleges, or similar two-year educational institutions who will be transferring as geography majors to four year colleges and universities. These scholarships are funded by Darrel Hess, author of McKnight’s Physical Geography: A Landscape Appreciation, published by Pearson.
The award consists of a scholarship to be used for any educational expenses in the amount of $1,500 and a formal certificate of merit. The formal announcement of the award will take place at the AAG Annual Meeting.

The CGS distributes more than $2,000 each year in student scholarships and awards. Presented each year at the annual conferences, these awards are a significant source of pride for the California Geographical Society.
The David Malcolm Scholarship will start accepting applications for Spring starting on March 1, 2025.
Despite not having a college degree, David Malcolm has enjoyed great success, graduating from the Harvard Business School Presidents Program. Over four decades, he built an enviable career in real estate, earning the highest commercial real estate designation (CCIM) and founding, managing, and advising multiple companies. Having come from a poor family, Mr. Malcolm created wealth while engaging in public and community service. He served in local, regional, and state offices and supported countless community organizations, many in education. Mr. Malcolm's philanthropic efforts include substantial support to The San Diego Foundation and, notably, the David Malcolm Scholarship.
The David Malcolm Scholarship is for students who have overcome obstacles to educational achievement – personal, family, demographic, or situational – and require help to continue on the path to success. Eligible applicants are high school seniors or college students who have already shown perseverance in pursuing a college degree. They will clearly show how this scholarship will make a difference in realizing success.
To apply for this $2,500 award, eligible students must submit a 1000-word essay and meet the eligibility requirements detailed below.
This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in California who plan to enroll full-time at a college or university in any state and major in American history or political science.
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.
The Sharon Stephens Brehm Undergraduate Psychology Scholarships will recognize outstanding psychology undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. The Brehm Scholarships will help defray the students’ direct educational costs (e.g. tuition, institutional fees, required textbooks, etc.).
Kerry Ferris and Jill Stein Real World Scholarship in Sociology
The department will award a scholarship in the amount of $2500.
Eligibility Criteria
The Kerry Ferris and Jill Stein Real World Scholarship was established in July 2020 to support undergraduate scholarships for incoming transfer students in the UCLA Department of Sociology who face real world challenges.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
-Be a recently admitted transfer student declared as Pre-Sociology or Sociology at the time of application
-Experience a real-world challenge. These include, but are not limited to, being first generation college students, veterans, and/or single parents, among other challenges.
Write about Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged for a chance to win up to $25,000 in scholarship prizes. The contest is free to enter and is open to all students in 9th grade through graduate school.
