Freedom Forum Club

We are a nonpartisan political science club, established and maintained by the students of Modesto Junior College.  Our main purpose is to promote and encourage political awareness and involvement amongst the students and community of the greater Modesto area in relation to global, national, state, and local politics.  Encouraging political participation is one of our goals.

History Club 

Our mission is to offer students interested in history the opportunity to expand their personal and
professional understandings about historical events and the discipline of history. We aim to promote interest in history as an academic field while exploring local history. Through building community, hosting events, offering networking opportunities, and fostering relationships between students, faculty, and the community, we aim to create meaningful connections that enhance historical appreciation.
 
Our meeting times are Wednesdays from 4pm- 5:15pm in Founders Hall 118.

Psychology Student Community Group

 
A welcoming space for students majoring in or curious about Psychology to connect, learn, and grow. We share information about psychology courses, campus resources, and pathways to related jobs and careers. Students get to know peers and faculty, and the group regularly hosts guest speakers from the field. Events may also include networking, skill-building activities, games, and food.

Anthropology Club

This club is designed to enhance knowledge and understanding of anthropology and all of its respective disciplines. We welcome all students! We are an active club, hosting yearly “Night at the Lab”, Movie Nights, Guest Speakers, and fundraising events to support our club goals. Our topics include anything related to biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology, or archeology.
