Guide to Booking Facilities for College Employees
Conference rooms/classrooms
Can be booked using virtual ems. You need to be signed up and approved to be a user on virtual ems. To sign up go to https://ems.mjc.edu and click on “Web app – Virtual EMS” and request to be a user. Once you have finished your request, please email the events office at mjcevents@yosemite.edu and let us know so you may be approved. Once approved you can begin requesting space.
Recital Hall/Auditorium/Little Theater/Mary Stuart Rogers/East campus Student Center/ACE Pavilion
To book one of these spaces you will need to call or email the events office directly. These spaces are not available to book through virtual ems. Please email mjcevents@mjc.edu or call the office at 209-575-6020. Once space is booked we will guide you through the process for your event requirements.
Outdoor areas: ie QUAD on East Campus, other grassy area or outdoor spaces on East or West campus, Athletic Fields

Annual events
To book an annual event, please email mjcevents@mjc.edu with the building assignment number from the previous year’s event paperwork and we can copy over all the details from your last event. We can then make any changes you need at that time.
All equipment needs for your event need to be included on your request. These include tables, chairs, PA systems, podiums, computers/laptops, stage units. If personnel (i.e. custodial, security, media technician) are required please let us know as we need to also include that in your paperwork.
