What is PATCH?

PATCH is a dynamic, not-for-credit workforce program that helps students learn workplace professional skills and explore entry-level careers through hands-on training, professional development, and career exploration.

Fast & Flexible - Just 60 hours, delivered 2 sessions a week, completed in 10 – 12 weeks, built around adult learners' schedules.
Open Access - Designed for high school students, adult learners, and community members — and can be tailored for English Language Learners.
Real Credentials - Students leave with industry certifications (BLS - Basic Life Support, OSHA 10, ServSafe) employers actually ask for.
One Stop - MJC Workforce Development brings instructors, curriculum, and career services directly to your site.

Focus: Careers in Healthcare

Students will explore Dental Assisting, Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing, Pharmacy Technician & Respiratory Therapy

Certification: American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) - valid for 2 years.
