District Facilities Master Plan

The Facilities Master Plan (FMP) is essential in planning and preparing for the long-term capital needs of the Yosemite Community College District and identifies facilities and/or improvements required to adequately support the needs outlined in the Educational Master Plan (EMP).  MJC has experienced a sustained increase in enrollment across disciplines, causing the student population to rapidly outpace the capacity of existing laboratory, learning, activity, and service spaces.

The Facilities Master Plan (FMP) shows proposed facility improvements that prioritize:

  • Cost Effective Growth & Sustainability
  • Safety & Security
  • Community Needs & Connection
