Medical Coding: Certified Professional Coder

Medical Coding

Offered in partnership with American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the world’s largest training and credentialing organization, students learn principles of medical coding related to the three main code books: CPT®, ICD-10-CM Code Set and HCPCS Level II. This course is recommended for anyone who is preparing for a career in medical coding for a physician’s office and strongly recommended for anyone who is preparing for AAPC’s CPC Certification Exam. The curriculum is aligned to prepare students for academic and professional success, as well as the technical skills to thrive on the job.

Course Tuition Includes: Student Membership (Annual), Textbooks, Study Guides, Course Curriculum (Hybrid), Practice Exams, Codify, Practicode Practicum, One-Day Exam Prep Boot Camp and Certification Exam (2 Attempts)

This is a Hybrid course (in-person and Zoom). Three-payment plan available. The first payment will be due at time of registration. All fees, once paid, are non-refundable. Contact the Community Lifelong Learning office to inquire about sponsorship from Stanislaus County Workforce Development.
