Student Testing Guidelines
The ASC Test Center provides a secure, distraction-reduced testing environment for
students with approved accommodations. Students using the Testing Center are expected
to follow the policies below.
1. Identification Requirements
Students must present a valid photo ID before beginning their exam.
2. Scheduling Requirements
To ensure proper testing arrangements, students must schedule exams in advance.
Exams and quizzes: Must be requested 3–4 days in advance
Final exams: Must be requested at least two weeks in advance
Failure to schedule within these timeframes may result in the inability to test in
the ASC Test Center.

Only materials approvedby the instructor are permitted during the exam.
Exams will be administered according to the instructor’s instructions
If instructions or materials are not received before the scheduled exam, the student
may need to reschedule.
Once a test has been submitted, it cannot be returned to the student.
4. Electronic Device Policy
Electronic devices are not permitted during testing unless specifically authorized
by the instructor or testing staff.
Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:
Tablets or laptops
Smartphones
Smartwatches or smart rings
Fitness trackers
Earbuds or headphones
Smart glasses
Bluetooth-enabled devices
Portable media players
Any other device capable of transmitting, receiving, or storing data
All devices must be silenced and stored with personal belongings in the designated
area before the test begins.
5. Testing Environment Rules
To maintain a fair and distraction-free environment:
Children and guests are not permitted in the testing room.
Only water in a sealed bottle may be brought into the Test Center with staff approval.
Oversized clothing may be subject to inspection. Students who require specific clothing
or devices for a disability or medical condition should notify the Test center or
their ASC counselor in advance.
Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
6. Academic Integrity
The ASC Test Center follows strict academic integrity policies.
Any form of cheating or academic misconduct will result in the immediate collection
of the test and testing materials.
The ASC Test Center is monitored by video surveillance and/or in-person proctors.
7. Accommodations Verification
All student accommodations will be verified using the current semester accommodations
on file with ASC.
8. Testing Time and Closing Policy
All exams must be completed and submitted by the ASC Test Center closing time, regardless
of the remaining testing time.
Students who arrive late must still complete the exam by the scheduled closing time.
Students are responsible for scheduling exams early enough to allow their full accommodation
time.
9. Appointment Attendance
Students are expected to attend scheduled testing appointments.
After three no-shows, ASC Test Center testing privileges may be suspended until further
notice.
