CCAP

What is CCAP?

CCAP stands for College and Career Access Pathways which is part of the Dual Enrollment Program that is offered at MJC. CCAP courses are college-level courses that are taught during the normal school day on the high school campuses. Students who are interested in taking CCAP courses, must have approval by their parents/guardians and their high school.

CCAP Initiative Goals

Easing student transitions across the education path from high school to community college; from pre-college courses to credit postsecondary programs; and from community college to university or employment.
To further increase the number of students obtaining certificates, credentials, and degrees.

Steps to Enroll

1. Apply to MJC
- Complete the online application through the OPENCCC website.
- You will receive a "Welcome" email to your personal email that you used on the application that includes your MJC student information.

2. Submit a Special Part-Time Petition for Advanced Admission

Once you have received your MJC Student ID, complete the Special Part-Time Petition for Advanced Admission.

3. Set Up Your MyMJC Account and MJC Student Email
- Using your MJC Student Username, set up your account through MyMJC Student Login
- Select "Forgot My Password" and complete the following steps
- For any questions or assistance, please contact the IT Service Desk at 209-575-7900, option 4
4. Register For Classes
- Select your school from the list provided below, and click on the "Section Number" link to the according class which will prompt you to log-in. After you log-in, you will then register for the class.
- View your class schedule here.
5. Important Information
- CCAP students can take up to 15 units, and have their tuition fees waived. There are no student, material, or book fees for CCAP courses.
