High School Articulation

• Complete the online application through the OPENCCC website. 
• You will receive a "Welcome" email to your personal email that you used on the application that includes your MJC student information.

• Students must submit a response to the Student Request to Participate Form by the deadline, February 28th

• Students must pass the course with a grade of an A or B in the second semester (for most courses).
• High schools will provide the students' transcripts to MJC at the end of the academic year.
• For students who are eligible, credit will be posted to their MJC Student Transcripts by July 31st. 
• Students can request credit for up to two years after graduation!

• All requests must be submitted via the CTE Transitions Request form.
• Upload the required supporting documents listed below as PDF attachments for each agreement that is requested: 
  • Teacher Request to Participate
  • Copy of high school course outline that is board approved within 5 years
  • Copy of final examination
  • Copy of course syllabus

New and Renewal Agreements -  All new and renewal agreements must be submitted to Modesto Junior College by December 31st of each academic year to be considered for the following academic year.

Revisions are made to either the MJC or high school course outline that affect the course objectives below:

• There is a change in instructor teaching the course at the college or high school.

• 3 years have passed (agreements that expire in the summer must be renewed by December).
