Avoid a Registration Hold for Spring 2026

MJC students must have a zero-dollar balance or a payment plan on file for the current term (Spring 2026) before their registration date/time for Summer and/or Fall 2026 semester or they will NOT be able to register for classes. If any fees are owed after the term begins, a hold will be placed on the students record preventing future registration.

How to avoid a registration hold

1. Have a zero-dollar balance or;
2. Have a payment plan on file for the current term or;
3. Obtain a registration hold exemption

Students can find their current balance in Self Service under Account Summary:

1. Click on menu (3 lines) in the upper left-hand corner of the screen
2. Tap the “Student Finance” tab
3. Click on “Account Summary”
4. Make a payment or set up a payment plan under the “Student Finance” tab.

If there is a Registration Hold on Your Account

When all tuition/fees are paid and a zero-dollar balance is reached, the registration hold will be removed, and the student will be able register for classes.
