Mandatory Orientation Meeting: Friday, November 30, 2018
Registration for orientation opens: October 29, 2018
Registration for orientation closes: November 27, 2018, or until seats are filled.
Program Start Date: January 18, 2019

*Registration for orientation is accepted on a first come first serve basis.

*ONLY STUDENTS WHO COMPLETE THE ORIENTATION WILL BE ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM.

How to register for orientation?

STEP THREE - Attend the Mandatory Orientation
STEP FOUR - Complete and submit ALL required documents discussed during orientation

The Nurse Assistant Program at Modesto Junior College is a one-semester course (NURSE 52, 5.5 units) that includes 60 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of supervised clinical experience within the guidelines set by the State Department of Health Services. The Program is offered in the Fall and Spring semesters. After successful completion of the Program, students are eligible to take the certification examination to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). The exam has been developed to meet the evaluation requirements of federal and state nurse aid and competency evaluation legislation. Red Cross testing is available at MJC at the end of each class.
