Modesto Junior College
MJC East and West Campus open Monday, June 18. All classes and library services are in session. The following areas are closed: Pool, Men's PE, Gym, Library, North Drive, Practice Field. See information tent on East Campus for temporary class and library service locations.

Veterinary Technician Program


The Modesto Junior College Veterinary Technician Program is designed to be a year-long certificate program.

Classes are taught from 6-9 pm Monday –Thursday in the Agriculture Department on East Campus.

  • Students must complete 4,416 hours of clinical work experience & 20 units to be eligible for the California RVT exam.
  • The additional 3 units is not required to complete the certificate program at MJC.
