Modesto Junior College is joining colleges and universities across the country in celebrating National Transfer Student Week, October 19–23, 2026.
Designated by the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS), this week honors transfer students and the faculty and staff who support their journey to a four-year degree.
The entire MJC campus is invited to take part throughout the week, share your own transfer stories, spark conversations about transfer options in classrooms and advising sessions, and show pride in your own educational journey by wearing gear from the college or university you transferred from (or hope to transfer to).
Faculty and staff are also invited to stop by the Transfer Center, find their alma mater's pennant on display, and snap a selfie to share on social media, tagging the MJC Transfer Center to help spread the word.
