MJC Health Services is excited to kick off the Fall 2025 first Healthy Living Presentation, made possible by Nurse Lidia Gaines and Interim Mental Health Services Coordinator Mayra Magallanes.

Healthy Living provides a virtual platform for experts to share their professional expertise with the MJC community and the public. The series is designed to promote healthier living through engaging and informative presentations.

This session, Talk Saves Lives, is presented in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Guest speakers Edward Sperry, AFSP Board Chair, Central Valley, and Jori Martinez, AFSP Co-Chair, Central Valley, will lead an impactful discussion on suicide prevention—sharing strategies to save lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.

This event is open to MJC students, employees, and the community. Join us in learning how awareness, education, and conversation can make a difference.
