by Pride Scholars. Spend your day with us host listening to inspiring guest speakers, drag show performance,
educational workshops on harm reduction and other topics important to the LGBTQ+ community.
Peruse the resource fair with tables hosted by mutual aid groups and local artists.
Join event emcee, Jordan Quiverns, Program Specialist for MJC Pride Scholars for a
an entertaining day of learning. Dr. Andrea Silva, an addiction specialist, returns
this year to lead the harm reduction workshop. Harlan Diven, a queer attorney, will
lead a workshop titled, Know Your Rights, focused on the rights of transgender and
undocumented people. Listen in and join the discussion during the LGBTQ+ student panel
where students will share their experiences and answer questions.
