The Veterinary Assistant & Animal Care certificate program provides comprehensive training for aspiring veterinary assistants and animal care professionals within our agricultural community. Students will be taught clinical and husbandry skills for a diverse range of animals, from domestic small pets to large-scale livestock and equine companions. The curriculum is designed to meet the unique demands of our local veterinary and associated animal industry. Students will take classes including clinical procedures for companion animals as well as production classes in beef, swine, sheep, goats, equine, dairy, and poultry. This program is open to everyone interested in being part of veterinary medicine and animal care.
