The Electrical Business Entrepreneurship Certificate of Achievement prepares students in technical matters applied to the electrical construction industry with an entrepreneurship perspective. Students will learn electrical safety protocols and regulations, applied electrical theory, read electrical blueprints, wiring techniques applied to residential, commercial, or industrial installations, the interpretation and application of the National Electrical Code, and the commercial basis for establishing and running an electrical business operation. All the classes coded as "ELTEC" included in this program are approved by the Division of Apprenticeship Standards as officially recognized classes for the training of Electrical Trainees for the State of California.
