Step 4: English & Math Assessment

MJC uses a computerized test called ACCUPLACER to administer the English as a Second Language (ESL) assessment. The test consists of two sections: Reading Skills and Language Use. The test is not timed, so you can take as long as you need. Most students will complete the test within 1.5 hours

What to Bring:

You are required to present one valid (unexpired) government-issued photo ID with your signature (i.e. driver's license, passport, state ID, national ID, or military ID). School and company issued ID's are not acceptable

If you do not bring an acceptable ID as described, or your identity cannot be verified due to an illegible or damaged ID, you will not be able to test!

Arrival Time:

Allow additional time for locating the campus and for parking (including purchasing a $2.00 day use permit) if you are not familiar with the test site.
