Modesto Junior College
Due to poor air quality, and in the interest of your health, Modesto Junior College is closing at 4 p.m., November 15, and will remain closed through Sunday, November 18. All classes and extracurricular activities on campus are cancelled during this time frame. The college will reopen and classes resume on Monday, November 19.

MJC's participatory governance process (Engaging All Voices) ensures that resources are reviewed by representatives from faculty, administration, and classified professionals, based on the strategic direction of the college. All resources are allocated in support of the college mission.

 

  • Instruction Council has allocated resources for new faculty based on criteria based on participatory governance.
  • Resource allocation Council (RAC) has allocated resources for equipment for library resources based on program review.
  • The new Integrated Plan (Student Equity, Basic Skills, Student Success and Support Program Plan) has allocated resources based on review of disaggregated student data.
