Program Overview
The Retail Management Certificate Program is designed for individuals who are interested
in exploring the Retail field or are currently employed in the retail industry and
seek advancement into a managerial position in that field. Course work includes: management,
written and oral business communication, financial analysis, marketing, human relations
and resource management, leadership, computer applications and retail management.
The Retail Management Certificate is available to all students; however, individuals
who are currently employed by a participating WAFC (Western Association of Food Chains)
Retailer/Wholesaler are also eligible to receive a WAFC Retail Management Certificate
from their employer. These students should contact the HR department of their employer
