Paris is synonymous with high quality education, it is equally synonymous with beauty to the millions of people who have been enchanted by the city's boulevards, gardens and monuments. The beauty of Paris is never-ending -- the Seine, the backdrop of roofs, domes, spires and towers, Sacre Coeur, I.M. Pei's starkly modern Pyramide du Louvre and incomparable views of some of the world's greatest art treasures. Paris also offers fascinating theatrical and musical entertainment.
Eligibility: Students enrolled in community colleges in the state of California who have completed 12 college level units with a 2.5 GPA and are accepted for admission by Cosumnes River College. While studying abroad, students must maintain a full-time academic courseload of a minimum of 12 units from the range of courses offered.
Financial Aid is Available: Students receive resident credit from their California Community College and are thus able to apply to the same financial aid sources (state and federal grants and loans) available for on-campus study. Early application is essential and you may apply at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.
WORK IN BRITAIN PROGRAM
The Work in Britain program is offered in both fall and spring semesters through Santa Rosa Junior College. London is the center for the Work in Britain program. Students receive a legal work permit good for six months. The program works with professional agencies to help facilitate the program while students are in London. Among the many students who have enthusiastically embraced their semester abroad:

Benefits of the progarm include cultural immersion, a wide range of employment opportunities, up to eight units of Work Experience credits, legal work permit (visa) for six months, an on-site program coordinator, globalization of resume and transcript, no foreign language requirement, and development of self-reliance.
