Veteran Priority Registration

Please read important changes to Priority Registration

Spring 2015 Priority Registration Date October 31, 2014!

All students including veterans or service members must have completed college orientation, assessment, and developed student education/semester plan to receive the highest level of priority.

Students who are active-duty, veterans, and/or reservists will continue to receive priority registration if they meet and complete the following requirements by October 10, 2014:

  • DD-214 (member 4) or (if on active duty military ID) on file with the Modesto Junior College Veterans Services Office on or before October 10, 2014
  • Complete either the Math and English assessments tests, or proof of transcripts from previous attended college.
  • New students must complete college orientation
  • Student Education/Semester Plan - both can be completed at the MJC Counseling Office.
  • Must be in good standing (loss of priority when a student is on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms).
  • Not exceed 100 units (does not include units in Basic English, Math, or ESL).
