Veteran Priority Registration

If the following is not complete by this date listed below priority will not be assigned.

Spring 2017 priority registration begins November 1st:  October 17,2016 is the deadline for the requirement to be complete for spring registration.

All students including veterans or service members must have completed college orientation, assessment, and developed student education/semester plan to receive the highest level of priority.

Students who are active-duty, veterans, and/or reservists will continue to receive priority registration if they meet and complete the following requirements by October 17, 2016:

  • DD-214 (member 4) or (if on active duty military ID) on file with the Modesto Junior College Veterans Services Office.
  • If you have not attended MJC for more than one year you must reestablish your priority registration with the MJC Veterans Office.
  • Complete either the Math and English assessments tests, or proof of transcripts from previous attended college.
  • New students must complete college orientation
  • Student Education/Semester Plan - both can be completed at the MJC Counseling Office.
  • Must be in good standing (loss of priority when a student is on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms).
  • Not exceed 100 units (does not include units in Basic English, Math, or ESL).
