Welding Programs

The Welding Program offers instruction in basic and advanced welding.  All types of welding processes are covered in the instruction, such as Shielded Metal Arc welding (Stick), Oxyacetylene welding and cutting, Gas Tungsten Arc welding (TIG), Wire feed processes of Gas Metal Arc (MIG), and Flux Core Arc welding.

The program is designed to teach students welding of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Instruction is given in the various welding techniques, including flat, vertical, over head,weldthumb2 and pipe. Related technical phases of welding are also covered.

Students may attain the craftsman level, learn layout and blueprint reading, and become qualified to take the American Welding Society Structural Code Certification welding test. Both day and evening classes are available.
