Introduction to spreadsheet software. Spreadsheet analysis, design, testing and documentation as they relate to the field of accounting will be covered, hands-on experience using a microcomputer. Microsoft Excel or a similar spreadsheet application will be used. Lecture/Laboratory.

BUSAD 319-PAYROLL ACCOUNTING                                                                            3 Units

Prerequisites:Satisfactory completion of BUSAD 310 or 201.

Completing the payroll register. Reporting payroll tax information to the feral and state governments, with emphasis on completing both quarterly and annual reports. Making the necessary journal entries to record payroll transactions. Computing payroll on the microcomputer. Lecture/Laboratory.
