Required Nursing Assessment/Readiness Test: 

Conditionally accepted applicants will be required to take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) which will measure skills in the content area domains of Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage. An overall score of 62% or higher is required for eligibility to the MJC ADN Program.

For preparation, copies of the TEAS Pre-Test Study Manual are available at the reserve desk in both MJC Libraries and at the Columbia College Library to be used in the library or you may purchase a study manual from Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI).

If you have taken the TEAS at another college, you must do a TEAS Results Release Form available on the ATI website. Request that your official test scores be sent to Modesto Junior College, Allied Health. ATI will then provide your official scores to MJC.
