From food science to viticulture to agricultural engineer to animal nutrition, MJC offers a wide variety of hands-on training for some of today's hottest agricultural and environmental career areas.

MJC's agricultural studies play an essential part in filling the world-wide demand for food and fiber. The program is designed to prepare students for a variety of jobs in agriculture or transfer to higher institutions

At MJC, students have the opportunity to learn in the field. MJC has working agricultural enterprises on two instructional farm laboratory sites totaling over 100 acres, where students learn theory and apply it to real world problems.

Industry field trips enable students to experience the latest developments in agriculture technology advances in food and fiber production and processing, all within a short drive from the campus.
