American Chemical Society Scholars Program
Designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences. 100 scholarships up $2500 for freshman, $3000 for sophomores and $5000 for juniors and seniors. Association of California Water Agencies Scholarship

Betty Rendel Scholarship

California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers
California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers is offering scholarships ranging from $100 to $5,000 to students majoring in Horticulture, Agribusiness, Viticulture or Pomology. Christian Public Servants John L. Hollis Scholarship
Open to all seniors in high school, recent high school graduates, or first year college students with declared intention of preparing for a career in public service (i.e. teaching, law enforcement, fire safety, nursing, public administration, political science, etc.) and will attend either Modesto Junior College or Stanislaus State University. Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Scholarships
CIM at California State University, Chico is one of only four university programs in the U.S.-and the only one on the West Coast-that offers concrete construction and business education in collaboration with industry leaders. The Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE) announces the "LIFE Lessons" scholarship program to benefit students who have suffered the death of a parent.

Manteca Junior Women's Club
Manteca Junior Women's Club is a service club serving the Manteca area. The Manteca Junior Women's Club is offering a scholarship to a woman/girl starting or returning to college whose permanent address lies withing the boundaries of the Manteca Unified School District in the amound of $1,200. This person also must be planning to attend a community college, vocational school, or university for the upcoming academic year. May be used to pay for tuition or books, but excludes basic supplies, and housing/living expenses. Modesto Irrigation District (MID) Water Scholar
Provides economic support to graduating high school and junior college students who exhibit an interest in actively pursuing a career in the water industry. The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)
The fellowship provides three years of financial support including a $30,000 annual stipend and $10, 500 cost of education allowance. U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens at or near the beginning of research-based graduate studies in relevant science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines are eligible to apply. Natural Resources Conservation Service Employees
*The Natural Resources Conservation Service is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. One of its employee groups is the National Organization of Professional Hispanic NRCS Employees. Through its $1,000 scholarships for deserving Hispanic students that wish to pursue or are pursuing a Bachelors degree in a natural resources conservation field of study. In addition, The Martha Guerra-Arteaga Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to one female student majoring in public affairs or a natural resources conservation-related field of study. President Ronald Reagan Scholarship

Sallie Mae Fund First In My Family Scholarship Program
*Sallie Mae fund developed First In My Family Program in partnership with the Hispanic College Fund to offer scholarships to Hispanic-American students who are first in their family to attend college. Sallie Mae Fund Unmet Need Scholarship Program
*The Unmet Need Scholarship Program is intended to help financial aid officers meet the unmet need of full-time, undergraduate students whose financial aid packages fall short by $1,000 or more. Open to families with a combined income of less than $30,000, Unmet Scholarships provide a "last dollar" resource when no other funds are available. Sallie Mae Fund American Dream Scholarship Program
