Assessment Test Dates
Requirements & Information
• You must apply for college admission and applications must be fully processed before taking any test.
• Picture identification is required for ALL testing.
No identification? No testing.
• Seating is first-come, first-served.
• ATB (Ability-to-Benefit) appointments required.

• Plan on testing at least 10 days BEFORE you need your test scores for counseling, registration, StartSmart, etc.
• Please arrive about 15-20 minutes before the Precalculus math, ESL or ATB test.
• Purchase a $1.00 parking permit at yellow dispensers by each parking lot if needed.
• Food and drinks are not allowed in the testing room. You may be asked to dispose of them.
• Children, friends or relatives are not allowed in the testing room. Children may NOT be left unattended inside/outside.
• English, reading, math and TEAS tests are computerized—all others are paper/pencil.
• “Accuplacer” is the English and reading test. It is un-timed and gives you both an English and Reading placement.
• The Accuplacer reading test alone can be administered separately for students who have satisfied the English assessment and/or class(es). It may be taken during any regularly scheduled English & Reading assessment.

Please allow 2-3 hours to take both tests. English/Reading is untimed (avg. completion time 75 minutes). Math is a 50 minute test.
*No check-in allowed after this hour.

This is a 60-minute, paper/pencil test--please allow 75 minutes for entire session.

Ability-to-Benefit (ATB)

appointment or you will not be able to test. This is a 90 minute test.
