Jan 22: Last day to drop Full-Term classes online or in person and be eligible for a refund. This is a Sunday, only PiratesNET registration system is available. You may drop classes using the system until 11:00 pm
Feb 5: Last day to withdraw from Full-Term Classes without a "W" using PiratesNet. You may drop classes using the system until 11:00 pm
Feb 6: Last day to file "Request for Refund" for classes dropped by January 22
Feb 7: Last day to file for Pass/No Pass for Full-Term Classes
Feb 17-20: (Fri/Mon) Holiday - Lincoln's & Washington's Birthday
March 2: Last day to apply for Associate Degree/Certificate for Spring 2011 to have name in commencement program
April 2: Last day to withdraw from Full-Term Classes* in the Admissions Office (5 pm on East and West Campus), or PiratesNet. You may drop classes using PiratesNet until 11:00 pm on April 3rd
April 9: Begin checking your MJC student email for your Summer 2012 registration date and time.
April 13: Last day to apply for Associate degree/Certificate for Spring 2012
April 23- April 28: Final Examinations
April 27: Graduation 6pm
April 28: Semester Ends
During the summer (May 1- August 17), MJC is closed on Fridays. Our summer hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

May 24: Last day to add full term classes on the web (PiratesNet)
May 28: Memorial Day Holiday
May 30: Summer classes begin. For late start classes, check the PiratesNet searchable schedule.
June 3: Last day to Withdraw from Full-Term classes without a "W" using PiratesNet. You may drop classes using the system until 11 p.m.
June 4: Last day to file "Request for Refund" for classes dropped by May 20.
June 6: Last day to file Pass/No Pass for Full-Term classes
July 4: Independence Day Holiday
July 24: Last day to withdraw from Full-Term classes in the Admissions Office (5:30 p.m.), or PiratesNet. You may drop classes using the system until 11 p.m.
Aug 11: Semester Ends!
*IMPORTANT NOTE: A full-term class is any class that begins May 30 and ends August 11. A short-term class is any class that does not meet the full-term class definition. Students can register at their scheduled registration date & time or any time thereafter during scheduled registration hours until the day before the class begins.
