The Modesto Junior College track will be closed to the public from Friday, May 2 through Monday, May 12, 2008 to accommodate the set-up required by the California Relays and Invitational Track Meet which will be held on Saturday, May 10.   The MJC track will re-open to the public on Tuesday, May 13.            

            The California Relays and Track Meet, presented by CocaCola, will include a "Blues, Brews and BBQ" street festival with food booths, a barbecue cook-off, and a concert at 6 p.m. by Tommy Castro.  A "Great American Tailgate Party" will be held on Friday night before the relays and will feature the live music by East Bay Mudd.  Set up for the street festival will require closure of Tully Road, from Stoddard Avenue to Coldwell Avenue, beginning Thursday, May 8 through Saturday, May 10.
