Halloween Chemistry Show offered
Dr. Al Chemist and the Mischiefs present A Halloween Chemistry Show on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at 7 p.m. in Sierra Hall 132 on the Modesto Junior College West Campus.
The event is a fundraiser for the Great Valley Museum at MJC. Admission includes a visit to the museum which will open after the presentation and features the brand new interactive and original exhibit "Exploring Matter."
Dr. Al Chemist and the Mischiefs (chemistry instructors Steve Murov, Mike Kennedy, Michael McKibban and Dave Menshew) will offer a series of fascinating Halloween related chemistry demonstrations. The zany antics of the group coupled with some explanations of the demos provides a fun educational experience. Children are allowed if accompanied by adults with the dialogue rated as PG13
