Modesto Junior College underwent a research and planning process to prepare a ten-year Educational Master Plan (EMP) for the college in the fall of 2006.  MJC retained Educational Planning Associates in partnership with Professional Personnel Leasing, Inc. to do the research and prepare an EMP report and recommendations.  The resulting report was presented by consultant Grace Mitchell to MJC's College Council and instructional administrators on Monday, February 5, 2007 and to the whole college community on Tuesday, February 6, 2007.  The EMP report was presented and accepted by the Yosemite Community College District Board of Trustees at their meeting on Wednesday, February 21, 2007.

            MJC is in the final phase of completing a Facilities Master Plan for the college that is grounded in the research and recommendations of the EMP.  The proposed FMP will be presented to the Board of Trustees for acceptance in February 2008.  For more information on the FMP planning process click here.
