This summer, travel to the heart of Mexico and study Spanish in Cuernavaca, a city known for its eternal spring climate.
Study Spanish at the Spanish Language Institute (SLI) and earn transferable MJC units! The SLI provides its students with an ideal learning environment to think, write, and speak Spanish naturally in real-life situations. Receive individualized attention in small classes taught in Spanish by native Mexican instructors.
Interact in the language with local native speakers and other students. Live with a Mexican host family and immerse yourself in the rich and diverse Mexican culture. Cuernavaca, a tranquil city of 700,000, is known for its year round “eternal spring” climate and lush subtropical vegetation. The city offers beautiful garden restaurants, sports activities, central plazas teeming with people and vibrant with music, and a wide range of lively cultural events.
Explore Mexico with the SLI guided excursions. Travel with your classmates to many places of interest: the pyramids at Teotihaucán, the archeological ruins of Xochicalco, the National Museum of Anthropology or the Ballet Folklórico in Mexico City, weekend trips to the beaches of Acapulco, and more!

We are beginning to plan the 2009 trip.
