MAPS
The Modesto Area Partners in Science (MAPS) lecture series has operated since 1990 to foster science education in our community for youths through adults. Once a month during the academic year, MAPS offers stimulating free science programming, bringing educators and local citizens into contact with scientists and mind-expanding ideas.

SCIENCE COLLOQUIUM
The Science Colloquium series is an offering of the MJC Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Division. All are welcome to attend, and admission is free. We have a great list of seminars from which you can choose this Fall, starting in September.

EARTH DAY
AprilTBA Earth Day Celebration, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the East Campus Quad, free. The MJC Civic Engagement's Project Green Committee has planned an Earth Day celebration to heighten environmental awareness and educate students, staff, and the greater community on green and sustainable practices. The event will be informative and interactive, including displays, information tables and demonstrations and is open to the public
