Natasha BaccaAs an artist I researched the basic concepts of photography and began exploring the idea of literally writing with light. I developed various methods of painting using light on photosensitive paper, and have a patent pending for the process and tool by which I create. As a double major, MJC provided me with an excellent foundation in both photography and education. I began educating at MJC in the infant and toddler programs while obtaining an A.S. in Child Development and an A.A. in Photography. I felt very well prepared in both areas when transferring to the University of Oregon where I obtained a B.A. in Art. Later, I obtained a Master's Degree in Education with an Art Teaching Credential from Eastern Oregon University. I taught art in public schools for several years before my current position as Photography Instructor at Central Oregon Community College.
