What is the Office of Pre-College Programs?
The Office of Pre-College Programs consists three TRIO Programs funded by the federal Department of Education. The Office of Pre-College programs currently administers two TRIO Upward Bound Programs and one TRIO Educational Talent Search Program. Pre-College Programs provide junior high and high school students from the local community with academic counseling and support, career guidance, personal development seminars and college preparation workshops.
TRIO is committed to providing educational opportunities for all Americans regardless of race, ethnic background or economic circumstance. TRIO programs provide academic support to help students overcome the barriers to higher education.
